ecological, social and
cultural engagement

We have taken over a plot of farmland that was already undergoing conversion and was planted with fruit trees and a diverse cover crop. The surrounding area is quite flat, and there are no forests nearby. The high water table allows for the planting of fast-growing shrubs and trees. We aim to promote humus formation and biodiversity with the small-scale structure described above. If we have the opportunity to acquire more land, we will also introduce animals such as bees, chickens, sheep, and cattle.

We have already implemented – with the support of the association Alte Baumschule Gransee eV – the planting of a 2-hectare tree cultivation (agroforestry) facility, the most important facility for the production of our own compost in a regenerative nursery.

In our community, there is a strong desire for social interaction. In this context, we have already agreed on options for childcare, educational programs, and event spaces, which are highly desired by everyone.

In addition, we would like to offer seminars focusing on healthy eating, self-responsibility, and respectful, constructive, and peaceful communication. We also plan to establish the farm as a venue for music, theater, dance, art, exhibitions, and seasonal festivals. For school classes, we want to offer projects where they can cultivate and harvest their own plot of land.
